Since 1975 they’ve assisted families in overcoming substance abuse, mental health conditions, gambling and eating disorders. You’ll benefit from a supportive environment that prioritizes the role of family in recovery.
You can access education, intervention and treatment to reach your recovery goals. They provide standard counseling and intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) to meet you where you are in recovery. Their IOP offers three hours of programming three days a week. You can participate in proven approaches in individual, family, group and couples sessions.
For me, their planned interventions really stood out. They support families in confronting a loved one about their addiction. You’ll benefit from guidance and assistance with communication and expressing yourself. They help you show concern in a loving and productive manner. Additionally, they’ll connect your family member with local addiction services. That way your loved one can feel supported in their choice to attend treatment.
Another great feature I noticed was their Eating Disorder Recovery program. Whether you’re battling co-occurring disorders or eating is your only challenge they strive to help you restore a healthy relationship with food. You can access proven interventions to get to the root of your condition and change your behaviors.
I also think it’s nice that they offer gambling addiction services. Gambling addiction can tear families apart just like drugs and alcohol. They provide comprehensive care to overcome this addiction and rebuild relationships. You’ll benefit from targeted care from trained professionals to gain essential coping skills and sustain recovery.
