Previously known as First Step of Sarasota, Lightshare Behavioral Wellness & Recovery is an addiction and mental health recovery center. They provide medical detox, residential care, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient (OP) care. MAT involves clients using FDA-approved medication to manage cravings and reduce the chances of relapse while they attend evidence-based treatment. Medical detox allows clients to be monitored as substances leave their system, giving them a fresh start for rehab. Medical professionals can provide medication and other treatment for withdrawal symptoms.
Residential treatment may provide individual and group therapy, addiction education, life-skills training, medication management, and relapse prevention. The program may also include outings and recreation.
Lightshare’s PHP offers full day or night treatment while clients live at home or in sober living. IOP and OP treatment meet for fewer hours and days per week.
