About Fort Help Mission – San Francisco

Fort Help Mission is an alcohol and drug rehab center for adults in San Francisco, California. They provide medically supervised detox services, medication assisted treatment, and outpatient and aftercare programs. Dedicated services are available for pregnant and postpartum women and intravenous drug users.

Clients undergoing ambulatory detox receive robust supervision from medical professionals who can administer FDA approved medications to help control withdrawal symptoms and prevent potentially serious complications. Their evidence-based MAT program supports clients’ sustained sobriety through the use of long-term pharmacotherapy to reduce cravings and cut relapse risk. Treatment options include methadone and buprenorphine.

Their outpatient program allows clients to live at home with their families while receiving addiction treatment. MAT therapy is augmented by intensive individual, group, and family counseling and recovery-focused life skills training.

Their aftercare services enable a complete continuum of care aligned with clients’ evolving needs and may include step-down support and referrals for additional medical, mental health, and social service programs.

Fort Help Mission works with most major insurance providers, including Cigna, Humana, Anthem, ComPsych, Bright Health and Wellmark. Contact your insurance provider to verify coverage as out of network benefits can vary.
