With outpatient care, you can live at home and tend to daily responsibilities while getting the help you need. Their program provides medication assisted treatment for opioids, including heroin, prescription medications, and others.
This approach combines FDA approved medications, like methadone and buprenorphine, with counseling. The medications can relieve withdrawal symptoms while you work through addiction’s underlying causes with proven therapeutic interventions.
What stands out most to me is their four phases of treatment. They start by helping you reach stabilization. Then, you move on to counseling. As you progress in treatment, they gradually taper down your dose until you no longer need the medications. You’ll then move on to aftercare to sustain recovery. I think this is a great approach because it allows you to move through treatment at your own pace.
Another great feature I noticed was they offer sliding scale discounts. Along with private insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare, they offer reduced fees based on your ability to pay. That way, finances won’t get in the way of receiving potentially life changing care.
I also think it’s nice that they have DUI services. You can access Risk Education, Early Intervention Counseling, Treatment, and Re-Evaluation based on your situation. They provide multiple options to accommodate your needs, from 10 hour educational programs to 75 hour ones with different interventions. They even create a continuing care plan to ensure you stay on the path to recovery.
