Gaudenzia Diagnostic and Rehabilitation Center (DRC)

Gaudenzia’s Diagnostic and Rehabilitation Center is an addiction treatment facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They offer clients evidence based and person centered recovery services. The treatment services available at this facility are intensive and non intensive outpatient services, residential substance use disorder treatment, and individual and group counseling.

Staff members are trained to give clients culture informed care, gender responsive care and trauma informed care. Additionally, they specialize in providing treatment services to clients involved in the criminal justice system.

The center accepts payment through Medicaid plans and specific types of commercial insurance. If a client does not have insurance, they can work with them to see if they’re eligible for county funding.

The length of stay at the residential program will vary based on an individual client’s goals and needs. They provide patients with a stable and supportive environment where they can be connected with professional counselors who can help them start their recovery journey.

The residential program features medication assisted treatment (MAT) to help patients be comfortable during the withdrawal process. Clients will attend multiple individual and group counseling sessions to learn more about addiction and develop skills that can lead them to a sober life.

The specialized programming clients may have access to includes programming for pregnant and parenting women, criminal justice involved individuals and housing insecure individuals. Individuals involved with the criminal justice system will receive services such as job readiness services and linkage to re entry support services. In addition to specialized treatments for these groups, the facility also provides help for teens.
