Gosnold is a multi location rehab center that has several outpatient and inpatient treatment centers in the Falmouth area. Emerson House is their clinical stabilization center for drug and alcohol addiction in West Falmouth, Massachusetts.

What exactly does a clinical stabilization center do? This is where you would go when you’re beginning your recovery journey or at any point in your recovery when you are at a high risk for relapse. That’s only the tip of the iceberg, though. In fact clients talk about how this rehab program is well rounded and gives them a whole arsenal of tools for combating addiction and maintaining their recovery.

At this special inpatient rehab you’ll get intensive treatment to help you become more comfortable and firm in your sobriety. A lot of the program uses individual counseling and group counseling to help with the various issues that affect your addiction. They use meditation and evidence based therapy techniques to help you overcome your addiction.

Along with therapy, you’ll get a great education in addiction and wellness. You’ll learn the ways addiction affects you and your actions. You’ll also learn how to counteract those effects. They’ll introduce you to 12 Step programs as well so you can use these programs to continue your recovery when you leave.
