About Hamilton Madison House – Asian American Recovery Services – New York
Asian American Recovery Services, which is operated at Hamilton Madison House, is an outpatient mental health service in New York City, New York. The staff is trained to treat addictions to alcohol, drugs and gambling. The facility accepts Medicaid and Medicare, and they also offer a sliding fee scale for individuals who do not have insurance.
The facility is staffed with Chinese nurses, counselors, and psychiatrists who are bilingual and bicultural. You can have services provided to you in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. The program services are open to all residents of New York City beyond the Asian population.
Clients can receive medication to help with treating both mental illness and addiction. Mental health disorders can often contribute to substance use.
