Harbor Behavioral Health is a mental health and substance abuse treatment facility in Toledo, Ohio, near U.S. Route 20. This not for profit group offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services designed to fully support clients on their recovery journey. They serve clients of all ages.
In addition to treatment, Harbor Behavioral Health helps clients through work and life management services. Such support aims to help clients balance their responsibilities with treatment while preparing them for successful sobriety post treatment. The services they offer include:
Harbor Behavioral Health offers a residential treatment program for female clients. During inpatient treatment, clients reside in a secure, closely monitored residence. During their stay, they follow a structured schedule of therapeutic and recovery activities and learn vital life and coping skills.
IOP is a form of day treatment and a lower level of care than residential treatment. During IOP, clients meet at the facility on a regular schedule to meet with their care team and participate in treatment. Generally, IOP requires clients to attend sessions several times a week.
This is a standard day treatment program. It’s similar to IOP, but sessions are generally shorter and happen less frequently. Outpatient treatment is typically available on a flexible schedule.
MAT utilizes FDA approved drugs to assist in treating substance abuse and addiction. Clients who receive medication through MAT are closely monitored by staff and may be required to meet with prescribers in addition to therapy sessions.
