Healthcare Alternative Systems (HAS) has provided affordable, culturally appropriate and bilingual behavioral health services across communities in Chicago, Illinois for at least 50 years. They target the underserved and people from the inner cities who lack access to quality care.

HAS operates about 14 outpatient clinics that provide accessible care for individuals seeking support. The Logan Square clinic offers integrated substance use recovery and mental health support as well as anger management, domestic violence and DUI services.

Both general outpatient and intensive outpatient care are available to accommodate clients seeking different levels of support. Your recovery journey in this clinic begins with a thorough biopsychosocial assessment to help the care team identify needs, recovery goals and barriers to healing.

Mothers dealing with substance issues and co-occurring postpartum depression can benefit from HAS’s accessible community-based interventions. They manage symptoms and foster recovery via clinical evaluation, therapy and support groups.

HAS offers DUI services to help individuals meet legal requirements and support safer driving habits. The goal is to promote informed decision making, prevent recidivism and fulfill court-mandated requirements for DUI classes.
