Homes of Promise – Ontario House, based in Ontario, California, provides faith based sober living for men and women in recovery. Ontario House offers a safe and structured environment right on the edge of Los Angeles County. Here, individuals get help with the transition from drug rehab to independent living.

Recovery does not end with rehab. It’s a process that includes building a stable, healthy life. Ontario House is part of a network of refurbished historic homes dating back to the 1880s–1920s, offering both charm and comfort.
The fully furnished home includes a large kitchen and parking plus access to a landline phone, Wi-Fi and cable TV. Located near freeways and public transportation, it is easy to get to work, meetings or wherever life takes you, without the stress of figuring out how to get there.

This nonprofit organization started because Ray Adamyk, one of the founders, saw how many people in recovery were struggling with not only housing but isolation. That’s when he realized there was a real need for affordable housing together with a place where you can feel part of a community.

At just $600 to $650 a month, the program fees are a real lifesaver, especially with how high rent can get these days. This affordable option gives you a chance to focus on recovery without stressing over housing.
