About House of Time Inc – Columbus
House of T.I,M.E. is based in Columbus, Georgia. The “time” stands for “this I must earn,” which reflects the clients’ commitment to healing. Since 1994, this treatment center has specialized in substance abuse and co-occurring disorders for women who have children. The program allows women to live in sober housing with their kids while they attend treatment.
There are two housing tracts at House of T.I.M.E. The transitional housing program gives you up to 2 years of care. You’ll receive life skills development, career coaching, budgeting, and nutrition planning to get you back on track. The main goal is to strengthen your sobriety so that you can reconnect with your community after your program ends.
A longer program is permanent sober housing. This is intended for clients who have long term mental health disorders or are homeless and won’t be able to return to their communities in the foreseeable future. However, you’ll be working toward recovery with health classes and counseling so that you won’t necessarily have to depend entirely on the structured program. Transportation costs and other expenses might be covered since these clients will likely have little income or resources on their own.
