About Human Services Center – New Castle
For treatment you’ll primarily have individual therapy, but you may participate in group therapy as well. They have specialized groups like mindfulness and health and wellness groups. While group therapy gives you the support and community of others who are in your shoes, your individual therapy gives you the benefit of working one on one with a therapist who can help with your specific challenge and needs.
What stands out to me most about this treatment center is how accessible they are. You can get walk-in care during any of their open hours including walk-in crisis intervention. They also have 24 hour crisis intervention either on their hotline or through their mobile crisis care service, so there’s always someone there to help when you need them.
Feedback from previous clients of the Human Services Center is mixed. Some have expressed frustration at getting through to the office on the phone, and some say their therapist did not handle their medication as they would have liked. However, others have reported that they had a great experience here, were treated fairly, and that the staff is very helpful.
