Interborough Development and Consultation Center in Brooklyn, New York, is a community focused counseling facility that serves individuals who are struggling with their mental health. Within this counseling center, there is the LSA Recovery Program. This program has tailored services to help you navigate any challenges you’re experiencing with substance use.

Located in the Crown Heights neighborhood, the center offers a supportive and welcoming environment. You’ll meet with a medical team that will take the time to understand your recovery needs and help you get the right treatments.

Their approach to recovery is rooted in evidence based practices. However, you’ll also be supported through therapies that empower and uplift your spirit and soul.

Their services are provided in an outpatient setting. Among them are assessments, addiction counseling, and medication assisted treatment (MAT) if you have an alcohol or opioid struggle.

You’ll learn different strategies and techniques to help you overcome challenges brought on by substance use. At the same time, you’ll learn different coping and social skills to help you plan for a sober future.

Educational and vocational support are also available here so that you can gain tangible skills that will improve your life. There are also different health education groups including HIV and AIDS education.

Families will also find resources at LSA Recovery to help them support their loved ones. There are naloxone training sessions and kits available in the event a friend or a loved one has experienced an overdose.
