For 66 years, Jefferson Center for Mental Health has been a trusted resource for mental health and addiction treatment in Colorado. Located in Lakewood, Colorado their Union Square location offers comprehensive care for adults experiencing substance use disorders and co-occuring mental health issues.

This is one of Jefferson Center’s three Collaborative Care Clinics. If you’re an adult age 21 or older and have either Medicaid or insurance through Kaiser, you may qualify for services here. If insurance isn’t an option, they’ll work with you to figure out a payment plan that fits your budget. Their goal is to make sure everyone can get the help they need, without added stress.

Getting help shouldn’t feel complicated. Here, treatment is built around you. You can choose in-person or virtual care. Drop in when it works for you, and see multiple specialists in one visit.

Recovery looks different for everyone, so the approach is flexible. One-on-one counseling, group therapy, and family support help you work through challenges with people who get it. Evidence-based treatments like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing give you real tools for successful recovery.

The clinic offers specialized addiction treatment designed to be safe during pregnancy. From Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) to individual and group therapy, you’ll have everything you need. They even offer free wellness classes for clients who are covered by Medicaid.
