JFK Center for Behavioral Health is located in Edison, New Jersey. You’ll find ‘em located in the JFK University Medical Center. The behavioral health and psychiatry program is one of the most comprehensive behavioral health networks in the region that provides addiction and mental health care to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Inpatient care is available for crisis or medically supervised detoxification.

Medication assisted treatment (MAT) uses FDA prescribed drugs to reduce the effects of withdrawal and lessen cravings during ongoing treatment. They have a walk-in clinic in their Urgent Care Center that also provides behavioral health and outpatient services with specialized psychiatrists and therapists. The addiction and substance use disorder treatment provides care if you’re addicted to alcohol, or other medications and drugs such as fentanyl, other opioids, and street drugs.

They recognize that addiction touches the entire family and so offer a whole person and whole family approach. The rehabilitation program helps you take a big step forward by providing evidence-based treatment, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI) to address your current needs and help you develop healthy coping strategies you can use as you transition into the community.

They take most major insurance providers and will verify your insurance coverage before you receive treatment. Financial assistance is also available to help you when you qualify.
