Josephine County Community Corrections – Substance Abuse Program on 4th street in Grants Pass, Oregon, is a substance abuse program for those involved with the criminal justice system. The community corrections program has a Secure Treatment facility for medium and high-risk offenders. They may have long or short sentences to serve and will spend that time receiving treatment while at the local jail.
Once an offender is out of jail, they will have community restrictions and supervision requirements to uphold. This may include treatment on an outpatient or residential basis. These services may be voluntary for those who are looking to make a long-lasting change in their life. Services could also be court ordered for those whom the corrections system feels would benefit from it.
It can be difficult for individuals who are coming out of a corrections facility to adjust to and find success in life. Group and individual therapy as well as other programs that are deemed appropriate are offered to help participants reintegrate into their community.
