Kansas City Community Center houses the Heartland Center for Behavioral Change in Branson, Missouri. They offer a variety of substance use disorder services that support you through withdrawal and recovery. Your treatment is provided in an outpatient setting or through telemedicine. They can provide methadone and buprenorphine or Naltrexone for the treatment of opioid use disorders. Services are also available if you are deaf or hard of hearing.
They will accept you as a client for outpatient treatment if you are on opioid medication that’s prescribed elsewhere. This means you can split your treatment options between two centers. They also offer treatment for alcohol use disorders and accept you as a patient if you’re using medication assisted treatment (MAT) that’s prescribed at another center.
They offer brief intervention treatment, and your program may include cognitive behavioral therapy, contingency management, motivational interviewing and trauma related counseling. They provide care for adults and young adults in individual and group counseling settings. Your program may include case management, housing services and social skills development to ensure a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation.
