A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a full-time day program. At Keystone Treatment, PHP services include assessments; individual, group, and family therapy; experiential restaurant outings; addiction education; and relapse-prevention planning. Approaches include evidence-based therapy like dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), along with holistic treatment such as somatic and art therapy.
An IOP is less intensive than a day program but still meets several hours at a time, several days per week. General outpatient care is another step-down, meeting a few times per week. Both programs include the same services as the day program. If appropriate, referrals to more intensive alcohol and drug rehab treatment are also available.
