LH Transitional Center’s intensive outpatient program (IOP) addresses addictive behaviors and co-occurring mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety and other issues that do not require detoxification treatment or around-the-clock supervision. An intensive outpatient program typically consists of about 10 hours per week of counseling and education.

LH Transitional Center’s aftercare program provides support and reinforcement of relapse prevention efforts. Aftercare is appropriate for individuals who have completed an intensive outpatient program.

LH Transitional Center accepts Medicaid and state government funding. Clients may be referred to additional services that many insurance companies, such as Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, Humana, Magellan, United Healthcare or Cigna, will cover, if the services are determined to be medically necessary.
