Livengrin Foundation is the largest addiction treatment center in Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They offer several unique options for anyone struggling with addiction as well as for gambling addiction. That was one of the first reasons that Livengrin caught my eye, but after I saw how this facility provides different treatment programs for workforce professionals and first responders struggling with addiction. Not only that, but Livengrin makes it easy for family members seeking out addiction treatment for their loved ones to gather information and resources.

I know that seeking help for an addiction can be scary, but I appreciate Livengrin’s approach to bringing light to all of the gray areas when looking at different facilities. Livengrin provides a full list of what you are and aren’t allowed to bring with you into the program as you’re packing your bag, as well as answers to a bunch of other questions you may have.

I think the facility at Livengrin feels so much like a hotel getaway, mixed with mental health support. There aren’t many facilities that provide private bathrooms paired with an updated and private room. Plus, their facility offers a fully stocked kitchenette and a shop that you can purchase additional items, like snacks, in (which is why they recommend you bring $50 with you as you’re packing for the facility)!

Livengrin offers a bunch of different support options, like music therapy, art therapy, trauma-informed yoga, guided meditation and more. They also offer group and individual counseling, animal therapy, and a bunch of other evidenced-based approaches to provide anyone with support, no matter what they need. This facility currently accepts most major insurance policies like Aetna and Cigna.
