Marin Services for Men is a male centered rehab facility located in San Rafael, California. They utilize the 12 Step model as their main foundation for treatment. There is a lot of research suggesting that this is a proven model that works very well when seeking recovery from drugs or alcohol.
This center offers residential care including food, shelter and recovery services. They accept residents who are between the ages of 18 and 65. It is a six month program, and you’re required to participate in all six months in order to proceed with acceptance into the program. You must also be completely detoxed to be accepted.
The residential program has some good offerings including access to AA meetings, group meetings, relapse prevention and sponsorships. You’ll also take part in recreational activities. They also provide help with any legal issues you may have, help with finding work and help with any family or relationship issues you may have. There’s even an exercise room for working out and staying in shape.
