About Mayflower Recovery – Wilmington
Located under 30 minutes outside of Boston, Mayflower Recovery is a detox and inpatient alcohol and drug rehab facility in Wilmington, Massachusetts. Opening in 2021, the property has 22,000 square feet of space and offers a comfortable and discreet environment for clients to heal from their addictions. The facility is licensed by the state of Massachusetts to provide clinical stabilization services and acute treatment services.
A stay at this location will typically start with acute treatment services that can last about three to seven days. Physicians and case managers will help you create a custom detox treatment program. You’ll be monitored to make sure that your withdrawal is safe and comfortable for you. As you receive medication to reduce your withdrawal, you’ll also receive motivational interventions, education, and case management to guide you to your next level of care.
When you begin the residential program, staff members will provide you with therapy, support, and education services. You’ll work with a team of therapists, social workers, doctors and nurses. The residential program typically lasts about two to three weeks.
One thing I find unique about Mayflower Recovery is they’re trained to provide detox services for a variety of addictions. Clients can be treated for addictions to Adderall, cocaine, morphine and other substances. The amenities at this facility include restaurant quality food that accommodates different dietary needs and flat screen TVs in the bedrooms.
With Wilmington being so close to Boston, you can easily make a quick trip to see attractions such as the John F Kennedy Presidential Library or the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum. If you choose to stay in town, you can enjoy a relaxing walk near Silver Lake.
