Mercy Health Saint Elizabeth is a full-service hospital in Youngstown, Ohio. On top of emergency and primary medical care, they have a behavioral health program for all ages. Their wide range of psychological care options include proven techniques for treating mental illness and mental disorders including substance use disorders.
Clinical staff can conduct an emergency mental health assessment on you or your loved one. This will help them know which level of care is right. These assessments are available 24/7.
Mercy Health offers inpatient services for adults dealing with a wide range of mental and behavioral health issues. They conduct chemical dependency assessments and can make referrals if needed.
They also have an intensive outpatient program where you’ll participate in at least nine hours of treatment per week. These hours will likely be a combination of group sessions, family therapy and individual sessions with your therapist.
They’ll work with your primary care health providers to make sure that your health is the priority. They also provide community resources so that when you leave Mercy Health, you have the support you need to continue your treatment.
At Mercy Health you will learn relapse prevention strategies so that you can be successful after you complete treatment. I like that they also offer a Hispanic counseling program for Spanish-language speakers.
