Merit Resources is located in Yakima, Washington. It’s a rehab center for people with substance use disorder SUD. They look to provide a quality assessment, education, and integrated treatment for people dealing with substance abuse, and or co occurring issues.
Here, you’ll get high level CARF accredited help with your addiction problems. They have drug addiction treatment programs that look to help you find a better quality of life and have a comfortable journey on your road to recovery. They help adults, teens, and children who are battling substance use disorders.
Based on your drug history and habits, they’ll give you an assessment and come up with the right plan that suits your needs. They have general outpatient and intensive outpatient programs available, as well as telehealth for both English and Spanish speaking people.
After your assessment, a care manager or counselor will work with you to set and hit your goals for a successful recovery. The intensive outpatient program (IOP) is three nights per week, three hours per night and it goes on for 6-8 weeks.
The general outpatient program meets once or twice a week for an hour and a half. They also have weekly or monthly treatment plans for people who are there under a drug court program.
They follow the American Society of Addiction Medicine or ASAM model of six dimensions to recovery. Here they stress that detox is just the first step and want you to be stable in all six dimensions of ASAM before being discharged or enrolling in one of their relapse prevention programs.
They also believe the longer you’re in treatment the longer you’ll need continued recovery and aftercare or relapse prevention help. Patients here have said this place helps you recover and can change your life.
