Mid South Health Systems merged with three other behavioral health systems in Arkansas to provide top tier mental health support and addiction treatment. Now known as Arisa Health, this location in Pocahontas offers outpatient mental health therapy, medication assisted treatment (MAT), and a drug and alcohol education safety program. Several other locations in the area provide residential treatment for adolescents and adults.

Arisa Health has several different types of programs to accommodate a range of schedules. For example, their website says they have therapeutic day treatment and group substance abuse counseling. They also offer individual counseling, psychiatric medication management, and crisis interventions.

If you choose to attend addiction counseling at Arisa, they’ll address your spiritual, physical, and emotional needs. It will be a structured environment with the resources and skills you need to succeed in sobriety.

Arisa Health makes drug and alcohol education safety courses more accessible by offering them on Zoom. You’ll first need to receive a screening, which is valid for six months. Screenings take up to 20 minutes.

Then, you’ll pay for and schedule your classes. For class, you’ll need a DASEP workbook that comes with tests and course evaluation. It’s important to note that if you’re late to a scheduled class, you won’t be admitted.
