The facility believes an important part of recovery is incorporating new healthy habits into your routine. Some of the activities that may be a part of your routine are nature hikes, visiting museums, or bowling. The goal of these activities is for you to build the confidence and practical skills needed to have fun without using alcohol or drugs.
You’ll find numerous nature areas in Malibu that you can enjoy after you complete your residential treatment program. Some places you can visit include Point Dume and Solstice Canyon.
The facility incorporates a variety of different therapeutic approaches to help clients heal from their addiction. Therapists will utilize evidence based approaches such as dialectical behavioral therapy, music therapy and skill training. The staff will also use alternative treatment approaches such as hypnotherapy and acupuncture.
