They offer both inpatient and outpatient treatment to veterans and their families. You will have a full assessment when you enter to determine the level of drugs in your system and the therapeutic method that will work best for you.

Their inpatient and outpatient therapies include group and individual sessions. If you are an inpatient client, you’ll get a bed and three meals a day for the duration of your stay. The amount of time you will be at the facility will depend on your needs.

They use many different treatment methods here including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) which teaches people how to think in a healthy way in order to avoid unhealthy behaviors. Not everyone responds well to CBT. People who are independent thinkers often respond better to motivational interviewing. The therapist remains objective during this kind of treatment. Inpatient clients may receive contingency management therapy. This is a type of treatment that focuses on rewarding positive behaviors. For example, if a client who is normally silent during group therapy shares in a session, they may receive extra privileges that day.

Group therapy will often focus on post traumatic stress disorder. Many veterans suffer from this debilitating condition. They have gender specific therapy and therapy for those who are part of the LGBTQ community.
