About Nashville Rescue Mission – Life Recovery Program – Nashville
The Life Recovery Mission’s Linda & Mike Curb Women’s Center is a Christian faith-based addiction treatment program in Nashville, Tennessee. It’s run by an organization called the Nashville Rescue Mission, which also has homeless shelters in the city.
This rehab program is for women ages 18 and older and they have a men’s program in another location. The women’s program welcomes moms to bring their young children too so you don’t need to arrange for outside childcare while getting the treatment you need.
The treatment program here is varied and holistic. Christianity and spiritual counseling are the backbone of the program so you’ll have Bible studies throughout your program. But you’ll also have group therapy to identify and work through the root causes that are affecting your drug and alcohol addiction. It’s a holistic recovery program that addresses your spirituality as well as your physical and mental and social well being.
A big part of the program is also giving you the skills and tools you need to establish an independent and stable life in recovery. To do that, they’ll take you out of the circumstances and environments where you’re tempted to relapse. They can help with job readiness training as well as financial literacy. They can also help you learn how to build healthier relationships so you have a positive support system.
After your program you can apply for their transitional housing too to give you some time to get on your feet with a job and a home. It’s worth noting though that they don’t have medical detox here, so this program is a comprehensive treatment option for after you have completed detox prior to signing up.
