Nassau Alternative Advocacy Program

Nassau Alternative Advocacy Program is a nonprofit outpatient substance use disorder treatment center located in New Hyde Park, New York. They offer medication assisted treatment, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, 12 step facilitation as well as medication for opioid use disorder, meditation, peer advocacy, Spanish language assistance, and women’s group. Their outpatient substance abuse treatment program is NYS OASAS certified.

They deliver evidenced based treatment interventions in response to patient needs under clinical supervision. Person centered care focused assessments and treatment plans for life skills are also available. They formulate the strategy of enhancing and enhancing prevention and treatment.

They use MAT alongside counseling and behavior therapies to ensure that they have a comprehensive approach to the treatment of substance use disorders that address the needs of an individual patient. They also provide suboxone therapy for opioid dependency along with group therapy to help you reach long term recovery.
