Naval Health Clinic New England – NHCNE is located in Newport, Rhode Island. They have a Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program – SARP that, along with addiction treatment, focuses on mental and behavioral health treatment too. The Military Health System offers resources here for active duty service members suffering from mental illness or substance use disorder.

They perform diagnostic evaluations, individual psychotherapy, medication management, psychological testing, and special duty evaluations for those battling mental issues. For active duty members with SUD, they have substance misuse screening, prime for life early interventions, Level 1 outpatient substance misuse treatment, and SARP aftercare. They also provide a care assessment within the clinic to refer you to the network.

They also have chaplain services, fleet and family services and Military One Source. They accept TRICARE, which covers inpatient and outpatient medically and psychologically necessary substance abuse and mental health treatments.
