New Beginnings Recovery on East Renfroe Road in Talladega, Alabama, is a private nonprofit offering substance use treatment alongside transitional housing in a long-term residential setting. Men and young adults live on site around the clock and follow a 12-step facilitation approach, with drug or alcohol urine screening and community outreach supporting each person’s entry into care. Recovery support includes self-help groups, peer mentoring, recovery coaching, housing assistance, help connecting with social services, and employment counseling. Case management, transportation assistance, and discharge planning help residents prepare for the transition home, and smoking and vaping are allowed in designated areas.
Live-in care with structured daily therapy and round-the-clock support.
Flexible scheduled treatment that fits around work, school or family.
Supportive substance-free housing during the transition back to daily life.
