About New Dawn Recovery Center – Folsom
Located in Folsom, California, New Dawn Recovery Center is a now closed facility for drug and alcohol addiction. This location was once an administrative office that connected individuals to various substance use treatment services the organization offered. The programs here included inpatient programs and outpatient programs. Although this facility is closed there are numerous other resources and treatment centers for addiction in the area.
The office in Fulsom was near the inpatient and outpatient programs and not far from Sacramento. Clients could take advantage of what the city had to offer. Some of the things they could choose to do in support of a sober lifestyle were visiting the California State Capitol Museum or learning history at Old Sacramento Waterfront.
New Dawn Recovery Center could refer clients to their intensive outpatient program in Citrus Heights. Individuals in this program would meet multiple times a week for multiple hours a day participating in group counseling and individual counseling.
The clients would benefit by learning new tools and skills to cope with their addiction and gain support from their peers. Counselors would likely also educate patients on the root of their addiction and use evidence based therapeutic treatment such as cognitive behavioral therapy.
