Serving as a community-based outpatient center, New Light Recovery Center serves its community by providing treatment through medication for opioid use.

New Light Recovery Center provides a variety of recovery services such as individual outpatient counseling, group counseling, methadone maintenance and buprenorphine maintenance. Specialized programs include group counseling for cocaine addiction, a buprenorphine-assisted intensive outpatient program (IOP) and even some holistic therapies like yoga.

One of the programs New Light Recovery Center offers is their Methadone-To-Abstinence Program, which is a structured program that helps those who are looking to reclaim their lives from addiction. The main focus of this program is to help clients transition to methadone use for management of withdrawal symptoms, with an end goal of complete abstinence. The Methadone-to-Absitence Program can be finished in as little as 90 days but can take up to two years, depending on your individual recovery journey.

New Light Recovery Center is the first facility in Michigan to have its Medication for Opioid Use Disorder treatment program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Plus, the team at New Light Recovery Center also offers care coordination services to help provide comprehensive support to every single person who uses their center.
