NewDay Counseling is a Savannah, Georgia, alcohol and drug rehab with an intensive outpatient program (IOP). They provide counseling, addiction education, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for alcohol, drug, and opioid substance use disorders (SUDs). They serve adults from all walks of life.

People can attend IOPs for immersive addiction treatment while living at home. Their 8-week program takes a comprehensive, individualized approach, providing multiple services to achieve long-term sobriety. Clients meet with licensed addiction specialists 4 days a week to participate in group therapy, SUD education, and relapse prevention training. After completing treatment, they also refer clients to local Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings, additional counseling, medical follow-ups, continuing care meetings, and other community resources.

Addiction specialists sometimes integrate medications with behavioral therapies to stabilize clients by helping them manage cravings during treatment. They offer MAT in the form of suboxone to help clients focus on creating a solid foundation for long-term recovery.

NewDay Counseling may accept major insurance companies, like Humana, HCSC, ComPsych, Wellmark, and BlueCross BlueShield, to cover some treatment costs. Always verify your insurance, especially with out-of-network benefits, which typically vary.
