North Shores Alano Club functions on an outpatient basis. They are a free program led by peers in the community who also have struggled with codependency. It is customary for individuals to work the steps as outlined in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, obtain a sponsor, give back to their local meeting, and support newcomers through sponsorship once they have obtained a certain level of recovery. Individuals are encouraged to learn about the traditions and principles as outlined in the Big Book to gain a deeper understanding of the program.
North Shores Alano Club does not accept insurance. If a person wants to use their insurance to pay for treatment outside of this program, they are encouraged to contact the insurance carrier before starting treatment because out-of-network benefits may vary.
