Northern Parkway Treatment Service provides opioid addiction treatment for adults 18 and older in Baltimore, Maryland. They offer outpatient services which provide flexibility for those wanting to continue working or attending school while getting care.
The opioid treatment program is state certified to help guests with opioid addiction and related mental health issues. If your well being has been impacted by opioid use they want to help. All clients are treated with dignity and respect in a judgment free atmosphere that encourages recovery.
Guests may walk in feeling helpless but are soon empowered. The team involves you in the recovery process by introducing you to the work that changes you rather than enabling hopelessness. They will listen and try to understand your unique situation to design a plan that meets your needs.
Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is available to help lessen opioid withdrawal symptoms. This program provides methadone maintenance. The drug dependencies treated include hydrocodone, heroin, Dilaudid, oxycodone and illicit methadone.
Methadone is FDA-approved to treat opioid withdrawal and cravings, so you can focus on lifestyle changes to remain substance free. This medication doesn’t typically alter mental functioning when taken appropriately, and most people can continue with regular activities. Your length of time in treatment may vary, depending on the severity of symptoms and needs.
Northern Parkway has a cash pay option of $85 per week. New patients will have a one-time fee of $140 for the initial assessment, making the total amount due $225 at the first visit. They accept health insurance plans including Amerigroup, Maryland Physicians Care and Aetna Medicaid.
