About Northwest Treatment Center – Waynoka
Northwest Treatment Center provides substance abuse and co-occurring treatment and education for women and children in Waynoka, Oklahoma. They offer services for pregnant women, those 18 and older and women with dependent children under 12.
They recommend at least a 127-day commitment for the most benefit from the program. In addition to their traditional therapy services, they include age-appropriate treatment for infants and children.
The goal is to offer the opportunity for women and their children to lead productive, healthy lives. They address the needs women have in the real-world setting to help them achieve successful sobriety after treatment.
Northwest Treatment Center provides care that encourages positive self-images and self-worth. They teach healthy school interactions, body safety, substance use avoidance, and alcohol prevention for children.
Children from birth to three years old are helped with bonding and structured activities to promote growth and appropriate well-being. They have trained childcare staff with experience working with families.
The therapeutic services guide and motivate guests to help them understand their potential and learn they are not alone in the addiction journey. You’ll receive educational tools that focus on your strength and resilience, both mentally and physically, to motivate you to change negative patterns. They teach life skills to help you be more productive in your community and manage daily stressors with coping skills that help prevent relapse.
The staff at Northwest Treatment Center believes substance use and mental health issues are treatable and they focus on the whole person and their children with a goal of family reunification and a lifelong sober lifestyle.
