Odyssey House offers everything from residential treatment and detox to sober housing. They also offer mental health and medical care including harm reduction services.

Services are low-cost or free for Salt Lake City residents with low income. They’re also in-network with most insurance plans and offer affordable rates for self-pay clients.

Since 1971, Odyssey has been offering residential addiction recovery programs for adults. They also run a residential program for teens.

I appreciate that they tailor their programs to include every tool and skill a client will need to be successful after treatment. They staff mental health therapists who can support co-occuring issues like mood disorders, trauma, and more.

Their inpatient program helps individuals improve their emotional regulation and communication skills. They also help you deal with the stigma that comes with drug use.

Residents are taught life skills and leadership and get access to sober recreational and cultural events. I like that Odyssey House partners with the Salt Lake City School District so that residents can earn their GED while in treatment.

Odyssey House offers several outpatient services for substance abuse. They provide DUI classes, intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and general outpatient programs.

I like that they run a family support group for your loved ones. This group is open to anyone who is close to someone that is struggling with addiction. Even if your loved one isn’t a client at Odyssey House, this group is for you.

If you need a drug or alcohol assessment, Odyssey House offers these at an affordable rate. These will fully meet any legal requirements for DUI/DWI needs.
