About Orem Comprehensive Treatment Center – Orem
The Orem Comprehensive Treatment Center provides outpatient treatment in Orem, Utah to adults struggling with an opioid use disorder. They have evidence based treatment programs to help individuals regain control of their lives, specializing in medication assisted treatment. They do accept Medicaid, Medicare and Tricare. Self pay is also an option.
At this specialized outpatient center, you will receive a combination of medication assisted treatment (MAT) and counseling services. You may be prescribed either methadone or buprenorphine. The services will be tailored to meet your specific needs.
MAT will use medications that help manage withdrawal symptoms and cravings. They do not offer medications as a stand alone treatment and it will be combined with therapeutic services.
During your treatment here, you will be able to address the psychological aspects of addiction through individual counseling. Group therapy is also offered and will provide you with a sense of community and support.
I do like that their group sessions offer you a safe space to share experiences. You will also learn coping strategies to prevent relapsing. I like that you will be able to receive encouragement from your peers as they are going through similar struggles.
Near the center you can explore University Place for shopping and dining. You can also visit the beautiful Orem Utah Temple. The temple is known for its Art Nouveau design and cherry blossom motifs reflecting the area’s agricultural heritage. The Provo Recreation Center and the historic Provo City Library also offer recreational and cultural experiences nearby.
