About Outreach House – Ridgewood
Outreach is a varied drug and alcohol rehab and community service organization for NYC families. Outreach I is its residential rehab for teen girls in Ridgewood, New York in Queens.
Outreach I is all about creating a health and therapeutic program for girls ages 12-18 with drug or alcohol addiction, including girls who also have other mental health issues (known as dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorders).
This program really has it all. Girls benefit from peer support, life skills and job skills training, counseling, addiction and mental health education, and group therapy. They also have access to full psychiatric care for their mental health and can get medications to help with drug and alcohol withdrawal and cravings. During the entire program, your daughter will also be getting on-site schooling through the New York Department of Education.
Outreach also knows that when your child has a drug addiction or alcohol addiction, it affects the whole family. That’s why they have family counseling too and even services for siblings who are affected by an addiction in the family.
