The PAC Program of the Bronx is an alcohol and drug rehab center for adults in the Bronx, New York. They specialize in different levels of outpatient addiction treatment to help you overcome your struggles and learn healthy skills for the future.
Their programs include medication assisted treatment as well as intensive and general outpatient services. If your providers think that medication can be a helpful addition to your therapy program, they may administer FDA approved options to help control your cravings, reduce your pain, and lower your risk of relapse. Here, they prescribe Suboxone, Subutex, Sublocade, and Vivitrol. If you’re dealing with a co-occurring mental health disorder, they can also offer psychiatric medication to help you manage your symptoms.
All their outpatient programs include individualized care plans, peer support, and counseling sessions for groups and individuals. If you’re in the intensive program, you’ll also receive psychoeducation and family counseling. Their intensive treatment lasts about four to six weeks, but the general outpatient program can last as long as you need it to.
Something I like about this facility is that they also provide specialized services for certain groups. For instance, there are programs if you’re under a court order or if you need help with anger management. They want to treat all aspects of your condition, including the physical and psychological aspects.
