About Pace – Wilmington
Sanare Today of Pace, Inc. is located in Wilmington, Delaware, on the Christina and Delaware rivers. The city is part of the Dupont family legacy, just 30 minutes from Philadelphia and midway between New York and Washington DC.
They are an in network provider with many of the major insurance providers in Delaware. They work with private insurance plans as well as Medicaid managed care plans. They will verify your insurance before beginning treatment.
They have several locations throughout Pennsylvania and Delaware. At this location, Senare Today provides an intensive outpatient program (IOP) designed to meet the needs of adults, adolescents, and the LGBTQIA+ community. They provide a substance use disorder program and a dual diagnosis program.
Dual diagnosis is when you are experiencing a substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health condition. This makes diagnosis and treatment more complex since the two conditions typically exacerbate each other. Dual diagnosis is sometimes called co-occurring treatment or integrated treatment because treatment must be provided simultaneously for both conditions to increase the potential for success.
Their dual diagnosis program is available for people 18 years and older and uses a whole person approach to treatment. An initial evaluation determines the personalized treatment plan that begins where you are in your recovery journey.
Your program may include individual and group therapy sessions. They also recognize that addiction and mental health disorders do not occur in a vacuum. Family therapy may be included to help build better communication skills in the family unit and to help others in your family learn about your disorder and how to keep each other accountable for change.
They use a whole person approach to care, identifying challenges that you may face and may have used drugs or alcohol to cope with in the past. Your therapist will help identify what triggers your addiction and help you develop healthy responses to cravings and urges. You are coached through improving your support systems, using experiential approaches and developing skill building within a group setting.
