Located in West Covina, California, Pacific Clinics – Mental Health Services is a nonprofit clinic offering treatment for substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health issues. They also have behavioral health programs for all ages including children. They’re accredited by CARF. They accept most insurances and also take Medicare.
Their mission includes helping hard to reach communities. Some programs that support that mission include the Latino Youth Services, the Asian Pacific Family Center and the Hye-Wrap Program serving the Armenian and Latino communities.
It’s nice that this is such a comprehensive center that even includes Head Start for toddlers. If you’re a veteran, they also have intensive veteran care and care for active military members.
They can help with substance use and mental health but also have early intervention and prevention programs. Their substance abuse programs include a primary care assessment, screening, diagnosis, psychiatric rehab services, crisis mental health services and outpatient mental health and substance use treatment programs.
Their goal is to help you understand your addiction by seeing licensed counselors who specialize in substance use and treatment. Your treatment may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational enhancement therapy, and mindfulness and meditation strategies as part of your recovery skill development. You’ll also have a case manager to help you along your path to sobriety.
