Portals, part of Pacific Clinics, is located in Los Angeles, California, and offers dual diagnosis outpatient behavioral health and alcohol and drug rehab services to adults and adolescents. They offer crisis services, peer support, school-based services, and prevention and early intervention (PEI).
Outpatient care includes individual, family, and group therapy; education on the impact of substance use; medication management; case management; life-skills training; and relapse prevention. Approaches include evidence-based care such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI), along with holistic treatment options such as meditation and mindfulness.
Portals is a clubhouse program that also offers school-based interventions, connections to 12-Step and other community recovery programs, and referrals to social services and community resources. They may be able to help clients enroll in Medi-Cal, access vocational training and job placement services, find housing assistance, get food, obtain clothes, and receive other necessities.
Pacific Clinics may accept Medi-Cal as well as private insurance plans, such as Humana, Cigna, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Amerigroup, Beacon, and Magellan Health. Because insurance plans vary, be sure to verify coverage information and out-of-network benefits directly with your insurer.
Flexible scheduled treatment that fits around work, school or family.
