Porter Starke Services is a nonprofit organization that serves adults who are struggling with their mental health, addiction struggles or other psychiatric recovery needs. With several clinics throughout Northwest Indiana, you’ll find compassionate and comprehensive care here through their continuum of services. Their Portage Campus, located in Portage, Indiana provides outpatient care that’s individualized to your recovery needs. They accept Medicare and Medicaid. There are also sliding scale fees available if you qualify.
As a state certified Community Mental Health Center (CMHC), this organization implements the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic treatment model. This is a model that uses evidence based practices like cognitive behavioral therapies and goal-setting to help you navigate recovery.
There are specialized therapists that can help you tackle a range of struggles whether they’re related to your substance use recovery or mental health needs. At the Portage clinic, women in recovery can also get connected to supportive housing as well.
