POWER – Pennsylvania Organization for Women in Early Recovery is a gender oriented trauma informed drug rehab center specializing in treating drug and alcohol abuse. This addiction treatment center only services women who are seeking addiction recovery. POWER is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
This substance abuse rehab center aims to help women reclaim their lives and beat drug and alcohol addiction to reduce the occurrence of addiction in future generations. To ensure this goal is achieved, POWER offers a few inpatient and outpatient treatment programs inclusive of various therapy modalities, including the following:
The residential treatment program at POWER offers 26 beds. It provides halfway house addiction treatment services to those on the road to recovery.
Some of these services include life skills training, individual and group therapy, health and wellness activities, individualized treatment plans, and medication management.
In addition, individuals are enrolled in this program for up to six months, depending on addiction treatment needs, and each woman has a private room.
POWER New Day is the outpatient program provided by this addiction treatment center. Those enrolled in this program receive outpatient therapy in a healing and safe environment while working toward achieving their recovery goals. Individual counseling is offered, but most treatment is dispensed in a group setting.
