Clients need to be 18 or older and a resident of the city and county of San Fransisco. You also need to be uninsured and receive state or city health benefits or have a source of income to pay the program fees.

This residential treatment program lasts up to 90 days. The California Department of Health Care Services licenses the San Jose Place residential program. The center’s residential program aims to facilitate a real-world experience that enables clients to feel safe and at home during their recovery.
