The Prestera Center is located in Hurricane, West Virginia. They’re devoted to serving its community by inspiring growth and hope for wellness. Part of this involves treating addiction in adults. Prestera Center can provide a full continuum of services specially tailored to support your recovery needs.
Their network’s services can include long-term residential addiction treatment, a medication-assisted treatment (MAT) program, a law enforcement-assisted diversion program, a DUI safety and treatment program, and short-term residential treatment. Not all of these services are at the Hurricane location, but you can speak with the center to confirm which location best suits your needs.
Other services you might be interested in that this center offers include a men’s transitional and residential treatment program, a crisis stabilization unit for if you need immediate drug or alcohol detox care, and a women’s residential living and treatment program.
The DUI safety and treatment program uniquely partners with the West Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles. If your alcohol or drug problems have caused you to be in trouble with the law, this program may be hugely beneficial. It focuses on intervention, education, and treatment, where you will attend 18 hours of education over 16 weeks to learn more about the harms of substance addiction.
Past patients have highly recommended the long-term residential treatment program at Prestera. If you require more personalized care, you should consider enrolling in this program. It’s not available at the Hurricane location, but can be found at their centers in Charleston, Huntington, and Point Pleasant.
An available service is the law enforcement assisted diversion program. This program is best for those who need low level rehabilitation instead of incarceration. If you’re enrolled in this program you could avoid jail and instead be placed in a recovery program that meets your rehabilitation needs.
