Located in the southern outskirts of Gooding, Idaho, is the Proactive Behavioral Health facility. This is an outpatient treatment facility that works with adults, adolescents and veterans who are struggling with their mental health or have a substance use disorder.
You’ll find a variety of services here including a full service clinic for your mental health, evidence based therapies for your substance use, school based support, and access to residential services if your circumstances require it. There’s also an after hours crisis line.
Proactive Behavioral Health is embedded in the community, helping reach all individuals who need assistance with the struggles they are facing. In addition to providing evidence based care, they also tap into the unique setting here to help you build healthy habits for a sober future. One way they do this is through their equine assisted therapy. They also have specialized programs for veterans that address the unique traumas service members face in recovery.

They have school based services that make it easy for children to receive prevention and intervention counseling services in their school community. This can help minimize their struggles while allowing them easy access to quality mental health care.
Because the facility is located on the outskirts of town, they provide transportation services if you require them. This will make it easier for you to access the quality care you deserve. As you move through the recovery program, you’ll find a range of recreational outdoor activities in the area to enjoy including hiking trails, water activities in nearby Snake River and unique rock formations.
