They’ll also help you come up with a treatment plan that supports your needs and make adjustments as needed. Some helpful therapeutic approaches your counselor may use include dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and motivational interviewing. DBT is designed to teach you how to regulate your emotions and manage your stress so you’ll be less likely to relapse. Motivational interviewing can help with increasing your desire to change.

It’s not uncommon for anger to be a contributing factor in one’s addiction. Anger management services at Progress House will help you find healthy ways to cope with your anger that don’t involve using substances.

And they offer intake services at this location to enroll you in more intensive inpatient programs if that is the type of care you need.
